Rebecca was born on 19th January 1991.

She started singing back in 1997 training her voice at the Priscilla Psaila voice school. Her debut original song 'Closer to heaven' was  amongst the top songs at Junior Eurovision Malta 2004. Rebecca then placed fourth in the major local festival 'Fil Ghanja il Melodija' with the song 'Sandra'. For many years she participated in charity festivals such as the ‘Heart of Gold’. 'Ohloq tbissima' and 'Friendship Roadshows' where she helped collect lots of funds in charity money.

Apart from having an amazing voice, she also has the talent to sing songs attached to special feelings. In November 2004, soon after her beloved Grandfather passed away,  Rebecca turned the moment of sadness into a song idea not only dedicated to her Grandpa Joseph, but to all departed Grandparents. The song was aptly called ‘Grandpa’, a very strong ballad. September 2006 to June 2008 were great months for Rebecca. In September 2006 she was selected as part of a trio called ‘Guess Who’ and they placed as first runner up in the Junior Eurovision Malta Finals, just 1 point away from victory. Here Rebecca was spotted by Batista Leisure Group who invited her to be part of their future plans. As a Batista Leisure Group Artist she was immediately very busy with a lot of important engagements. First she participated in the Fireworks Festival, then the Mediterrnean Food and Drink Festival. Next up she had the honor to be chosen to record the official song for The Local St. Paul’s Bay Feast. Then she was invited as a singer on the summer TVM program ‘Fil Pjazza Tar Rahal’. This took Rebecca into a new world, singing and learning a lot from an established band. For 38 Saturday afternoons, Rebecca turned on her style to thousands upon thousands of televiewers. Also in October 2007 Rebecca participated in the Mediterranean Vocal Studio (MVS) Malta showcase at the Manoel Theatre. Here she gave a 5 star performance both vocally and visually and caught the eye of British record label bosses Sir Harry Cowell and Ms Lou Mullen  from 'Private and Confidential Music'. The British duo invited  Rebecca over to their professional UK recording studios where Ms Mullen, a leading UK songwriter, penned the original song for Rebecca titled 'Hell or waters high', the song which Batista Leisure Group and PNC Music label UK proudly launched in July 2008. Batista Leisure Group left no stone unturned in sending the song to various International Radio station contacts in Europe and great feedback was indeed forthcoming.
